In a world where enough food is produced to feed everyone, 795 million people, or one in nine, still skip dinner every night. In addition, one in three persons is undernutrition

Eliminating hunger and undernutrition is one of our key areas, as directed by our ethos. In addition to causing suffering and poor health, the effects of insufficient or poor-quality food also restrict development in many other fields, such as work and education.

In 2020, We started looking into the causes of the lack of enough manpower in our plant’s surrounding locations. The study’s findings were heart-breaking since they indicated that kids from nearby villages did not attend school and instead worked on farms and other jobs to support their families. For the family, getting enough food, even twice a day, was really difficult. Children were undernutrition and weak, and the family would not even consider sending them to school. Over time, we came to see that supplying food may be the solution to  this problem. We  collaborated  with

Gujarati government to offer lunch at public schools, serving more than 1200 pupils each day. A hospital with 80 beds is administered by the group firm, QRG Healthcare, in Vallabh Vidhya Nager.

The focus of Kijaski CSR initiatives has always been children and youth of the country. Kijaski is aware of the importance of WASH (Water, Health, and Hygiene) in safeguarding the entire development of kids and their families. Our efforts to accomplish our goal of a world where all children attend schools that provide a secure, healthy, and pleasant environment for them to develop, learn, and flourish have led us to place a focus on WASH programmes in schools. Schools may enable and encourage changes in society by acting as strong change agents.

The following step in this manner was to educate teachers and students on the value of WASH. In addition to providing seminars for kids, we also provided them for teachers so they could inform parents and the general public about the value of sanitation, cleanliness, and hygiene in particular.

By implementing behavior modification workshops, it is hoped that young children would establish healthy hygiene practices. Children benefit from engaging in activities such as songs, wall paintings, rhymes, quizzes, and painting contests  because  they better  comprehend concepts, are able to

communicate them to their parents, and result in beneficial changes for the family. As a result of the involvement of teachers, parents and the general public may get education.

Every nation is proud of its heritage. Therefore, it is the duty of every citizen to show careful attention for their legacy. When it comes to being socially responsible, future generations have always been on our minds. We are aware of the necessity of preserving our legacy and transferring it to the following generations in the finest form.

Surat Castle (Gujarat-India.)

On the banks of the river Tapi, Sultan Mahmood III constructed the “Killa” in 1546. The Portuguese architectural style is evident in the bastions. Utilizing conventional methods like iron strips and molten iron, the fort was built using Rajula and Basalt stone. The fort, however, eventually needed conservation, restoration, and repair. A detailed work plan was carried out to preserve the fort, which restored the castle’s original glory. It’s interesting that the fort contains Islamic architecture with historical layers from the Dutch and British.Authenticity, minimal intervention, and preservation of the ancient structures were all carefully considered. Tourists may now access the castle’s entry.

Kijaski support for the conservation of 16th century “killa” is the first instance of a national monument conserved with CSR intervention. Completion of conservation works at Killa on dated 17th Nov. 2021 & HTIC have been marked by kijaski and also, providing for clading tiles of the monument, thus defining the skyline for an important heritage zone.
